Jackie Poynter, Learning Assistance / Resource Teacher
Jackie
Poynter is new to School District 85. She holds a Bachelors of Arts
(English) from Malaspina University-College (2003) and a Bachelors of
Education (Elementary) from the University of Northern British Columbia
(2005). Currently she is doing coursework towards a Masters Degree in
Special Education. After completing her Bachelors of Education, Jackie has
taught in the Northern Alberta communities Fort Chipewyan and Fort McKay.
She has experience teaching from K-8 and in Special Education. Although she
will miss the winters of Northern Alberta, Jackie is very excited to be a
part of Fort Rupert Elementary School and looks forward to meeting all of
you soon!
